A little about me

If you're anything like me and your search engine takes you to some random blog that you may or may not have been looking for, the first thing you want to know is–who is the person behind this thing, what are their intentions in this space, and do they have anything to teach me? So here’s a little about me….
The lady behind this site is Angie Harville, married 27 years to Joey; mom to all grown kids–Krysta & husband Blake, Jeremiah & fiance Anna, and Chloe; and last but most importantly, Gigi to 3 (soon to be 4) precious grandbabies–Murphy, Beckham, and Karson. Jesus has my whole heart and my devotion, and has my whole life. And nothing can change my mind after all His goodness I’ve seen in my life. I’m obviously passionate about Jesus and my family, but I’m also passionate about food, coffee, cooking & baking, gardening and going on all the adventures I possibly can.
Those passions led me here, creating a space to share things I’ve learned along the way in my life’s journey, to share recipes I’ve created through the years that have brought joy to my family and friends, to take you on our adventures as we travel the world, and to hopefully encourage you to fall more in love with Jesus and this beautiful life He’s given us.
I’ll answer questions I wish someone had shared answers to years ago. Like, do I really need a hand mixer, a stand mixer, a food processor, a blender, AND an immersion blender? And what do I need all these different attachments for? Does it matter if I follow a recipe to the tee or can I just change what I want to? What can I use in place of buttermilk and how will it change the recipe? How can I nourish my family physically? Spiritually? What if I’ve never flown and I’m nervous about going through TSA? What if I accidentally have a small weapon on me and don’t know it or my liquids are too much to go through TSA?(My youngest daughter and I have these convos about knowing everything is in line, but what if somehow I have a small knife in my pocket lol??) How do I find the safest and best rooms, fuel and food on my road trip? And more deep questions, like—How does my attitude affect my family and those around me? How do I pray, like not just talk to God like a genie in a bottle, but PRAY? Why can’t I hear from God? How do I build my faith? Does it really matter what I think about and how do I take my thoughts captive?
If these are questions that have rolled around in your head and you've yet to find answers or maybe you're just curious to see if what I’ve learned is helpful or the craziest thing you've ever heard, WELCOME! I’m glad you're here!
All my love,
Angie
